In the case of most EVTI stock sells that become a matter of discussion on this board, whereby one poster asks or makes comment about it, especially when it's in the multi-millions, another poster will postulate that it is a "penny-for-the-lot" sell activated by a firm. It is never suggested that it might be retail, or even traded as an unwise gamble by a small trader.

If I offer a sell and someone buys, then we will have two parties trading for regular retail trading purposes, proving such trades DO occur with EVTI.

What’s described is Not a penny for the lot trade, nor have I ever claimed otherwise. Penny for the lot trades are typically at 5-6 digits, obviously Not retail. Of course It is NEVER suggested that it might be retail because 5-6 digit trades can not be placed by retail! Duh. Nor can 5-6 digit trades be placed by a so-called “small trader” - that’s obvious, yet another fact.

The claim of “If I offer a sell and someone buys, then we will have two parties trading for regular retail trading purposes, proving such trades DO occur with EVTI.”

No, it proves absolutely NOTHING about Penny for the lot Transactions. Not a Single thing. FINRA has a section that explains these trades. Once again, it’s purging a security from an account at a complete loss to offset capital gains. The End.
