HealthMed Services Ltd., Announces Memorandum Of Understanding With Advanced Prenatal Therapeutics, Inc.
PALM DESERT, Calif., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthMed Services, Ltd., (OTC Pink – HEME – News) announced today that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to form a Joint Venture between Advanced Prenatal Therapeutics, Inc. (APT) and a new distribution company, to be formed by HealthMed to distribute products that have been invented and.or patented by APT.

Dr. James Smith. Ph. D said, "APT has several patents either granted or pending that cover a broad range of Apheresis technology for the treatment of preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a leading cause of prematurity and intrauterine growth restriction which leads to lifelong challenges for a baby. It is also the leading cause of maternal illness, and approximately 20% of maternal deaths." Dr. Smith went on to say, "Approximately 10,000 babies die each year in the U.S., and approximately 500,000 worldwide from preeclampsia and we are looking forward in establishing a new distribution company that will JV with HealthMed Services Advanced Prenatal to distribute various products of APT."
