In the case of a share spin-off, we must await the new shares that the company must first issue and forward to us. Until the time that we receive these additional shares (and our back office processes the shares for credit to the affected accountholders) your account will not hold this new position. It can take several days, or even weeks, for a new distribution and calculation resulting from a stock spin-off to be reflected in your account.
