That is a typical reaction that anyone who is NOT one of the principals of SLJB will get from a law firm, when enquiring about their business.

My law firm here would do the same thing. They are protecting their client, and rightly so.

Didn't you once say that you used to work in the legal profession? If so, then you shouldn't have been surprised at their reaction.
