My bet is that ARCA/VFIN continue to short until there is some blockbuster news here. Once revs from first full quarter of operations are announced, ARCA/VFIN may run and hide. However, until then, there is really no reason why they wouldn't continue to short.

News of huge revs will attract new investors. This will create more volume which will help to drive out the shorts. Once this happens and the shorties see what the RHWC business model is capable of, they will cover and leave.

Over the next year, as RHWC revenues increase, I suspect that they will be acquired by a Canadian bank looking for a quick way to enter the mortgage market.
