Curious why you think Kontrol’s share price is a result of “fluff PR’s”. To me it seems Kontrol has a long history of air quality monitoring, they leveraged their expertise to detect Covid-19 virus and had lab tests from 2 independent labs. Is there information that their technology is not to be trusted or plainly does not work? Or is the skepticism because they have not published details of where the technology will be effective, I.e., sensitivity of their units, size of rooms that it can operate in effectively etc. and have no announced customers so all blue sky at this time?

From a business perspective they seem to have been savvy - they got support from the Government of Canada early on, they have embarked on a measured testing program, grown entirely through organic growth, seem to have given A lot of thought to commercializing the technology, have defined the target market narrowly, have (I presume) lined up manufacturing resources to scale up and are continuing to approach commercialization in a cautious, complete way, have followed a well-defined plan to obtain buyin before commercialization.

Frankly, I was impressed with their approach. mCloud’s approach has been completely different because they have bulked up the company with acquisitions but that is a valid approach. I think, as you point out, mCloud management has been less transparent and have wanted to move quickly to grow the company into a substantial business. While they want to move rapidly to a NASDAQ listing, Kontrol by contrast is willing to let the growth of the company lead naturally to a NASDAQ listing based on company performance.
