Learned something new. Green eggs are really available. I used to think it was a thing of childs stories.
I put in a regular store bought white egg in with this pack I got from a local farmer that has 6 or 7 different kinds of chickens. I have no idea what breed lays the green shelled eggs.
Not only do I regularly get green ones, about a third of all the eggs I get from them are double yolks.
They are definitely happy eggs. 10 chickens roam per acre and go back to their henhouse at dark.
Anyway, each pack of eggs are a mystery. Various shades of brown along with the green and a variety of sizes. All taste great!
We should all try and support local farmers. I get my sweet potatoes, passion fruit and dragon fruit from the same farm.
