No connection?

From KBLB S1A, dated 8-24-20, recapping Army involvement:

From 2016 through 2018, we were contracted directly by the U.S. Army for the development and delivery of next generation fibers.

and...

The Company has been in communication with the contracting office and is working with them as they determine the best path forward; Management believes there is a possibility of securing a follow-up contract to complete the delivery of all materials for the contract. The Company is also continuing to pursue additional contract opportunities with the Department of Defense, Department of Energy and other governmental agencies.

From Polartec PR April 17, 2019:

In joint development since 2016, Polartec and Kraig are applying the performance characteristics of spider silk into yarns for military-grade textiles.

Two months later, in June, 2019, Milliken acquired Polartec:

“Polartec brings a wealth of new and respected outdoor textile expertise to complement Milliken’s strengths,” shared Halsey Cook, president and CEO of Milliken & Company. “The strategic acquisition broadens our textile capabilities with a product offering to now include fleece and soft-shell outerwear, among others, allowing us to grow in new and exciting spaces.

About Milliken's Polartec Business:

Polartec products range from lightweight fabrics, to insulation and weather protection textiles, and are utilized by leading consumer brands, the U.S. Military and other global militaries, and flame resistant, workwear and contract upholstery markets.

Really hard not to see the connections between KBLB, the Army, Polartec, and Milliken. I wonder if Maxim connected the dots?
