As much as i am happy that Mr Jones is leaving his executive seat, i don't understand why he would be paid his salary for 24 months and additional consulting services for 6 months.

The reasons could be:-

- Mudrick is buying Mr Jones's silence.

- Use Mr Jones as a shield for any legal action that is currently in the court or any forthcoming action in the next couple of years.

- There might be some technical issues related to the operation and wanted to keep him around to consult with him regarding these issues and don't want these info to be disclosed to the public and tell the truth about the state of the mine that will refrain investors from throwing any penny into the mine.

Mr Jones will be paid over 10 millions in cash in addition to the shares he own, what a deal!
