Then it would be safe to assume that you would have known then that TMMI paid a total of $6M to Iterated to develop the various VDK versions and further provided them with a $1M IBM PVS supercomputer to develop the PVS parallel code on. Not to mention, it was TMMI that also brought MCI into the mix providing a further $40M to Iterated, most of which was spent on the ViO code. It can be only described as wishful thinking by a malicious few that TMMI ended up with nothing. After bankruptcy with the the with VDK 2 licences intact, TMMI announced its ongoing SoftVideo development with full support from Iterated in its news releases.
And yes, this was a long time ago. Ergo the myth....
