There is obviously a serious problem with the auditors signing off on the Q1 financials and I don't buy it that Welch left to go to a better position. It doesn't figure that he would depart at the point of a supposed great success to make a leap into the unknown. Pull the other one it plays Jingle Bells. He got out for some pressing reason and it may be that it was not simply that bad financials are in train. That could have been ridden out by an improvement in the Q2 results where there will be a turn up with higher sales and revenues (adi is no great prophet to work that out). Nope, I suspect Welch was up to something that has a bad smell about it.
