FSOAlex, I was brushing up on what the current status/mess of BREXIT when it comes to drug approvals. What a zoo...

The EU has the EMA (European Medicines Agency) who makes recommendations to the European Commission who actually makes a decision to authorize a drug.

Here's a nifty guided tool that describes the process...it's like Grrr-Animals or color by numbers...I can absorb that sort of presentation...

This sounds like a bureaucratic nightmare to maneuver....but these are desperate times - who knows what'll happen when a fire is lit under someone's ass.

The UK on the other hand has the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency)...hold on..I've got to catch my breath....Anyway, there's another nifty tool that you can compare the MHRA to the FDA in a side-by-side page that goes from the basement to the top floor on roles and responsibilities. Another nice feature to compare the two.
