This may be a dumb questions...but how would the $8.3 billion offer made by U.S. Airways affect current Delta shareholder value? I assume that it would it be a good thing if Delta accepted the offer? I have not been keeping up with Delta, as there is alot of news to go through and read. So if anyone can explain and save me the trouble of reading through a million PR's that would be great. Would there be some sort of share buy out? I thought about buying Delta back when it was .47 as it was recommended to me by my girlfriend that knows absolutely nothing about stocks. Kicking myslef now for not listening. I plan to pick up. Any info will be greatly appreciated! TIA!
