If you have an operating costs of 2.3m, but only have 800k in sales. It’s the same as having 3.5m in operating cost with 2m in sales. A net loss is a net loss no matter what the numbers are. A raise of the sales numbers means nothing if you’re constantly outspending whatever it is that you’re earning. Investors want gains. Throwing execs 30% sales bonuses off large sales numbers without figuring out a way to at minimal maintain the current deficit is like a poke in the eye to the investor.
