What are you talking about? Of course SQQQ relies upon futures, did I ever claim otherwise?

This is why SQQQ suffers from contango over time when QQQ's move in the opposite direction, however, it can also be an advantage when the trend is in-line as with TQQQ which is up over 300% since March. During this same time QQQ's are up about 78%.

I don't need investment lessons from you, been doing this for a long time and made a lot of money in March. I am setting up for another downturn. When the time is right I will pile into SPY and QQQ Puts like I did in March. In the meantime I am happy picking away at SQQQ a little each day
