That's right. Symantec and other Data Security are free for 30 days.

Then you have to pay, if you keep using it... and if you don't it will keep reminding you until you do.

Smart marketing if you ask me. Most people will just pay for the add on and keep using it.

Subscription based software is here to stay and will continue to profit from it, year over year.
