Hi Morfeyus, thanks. The challenge is that obesity is correlated to stroke, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc. many things. So yeah, it’s not new. I’m unclear why any public official would water down the impact of coronavirus and the fact that hundred + thousand people have died. The “yeah but” about on this one is disappointing.

Our country deserves leadership that’s transparent, communicates well and takes responsibility. Several have talked about the FDA approval process being broken ... if the death rate from CV was 15-20% higher, people would be losing their minds and we don’t have rapid system to Save humanity. This new “yeah but cv doesn’t really kill people, obesity does” ... that’s a meme. It’s meant to get citizens replicating it so those in charge aren’t responsible for their lack of thoughtful planning.

My hope in this is that the drug approval process can be re-evaluated along with a real need to vote effective politicians that want the responsibility and want to lead this fall. Just the propaganda from this administration alone is exhausting.

All the DeGrados in the world are necessary to get IPIX and B approved bc it’s unclear that this admin cares to resolve cv in a way that helps citizens. They are more interested in not being blamed for their lack of response. I guess it’s possible Leo and Donald are great friends but i think we would know that by now.
