This paradigm is why Texas (both Rec MJ and Med MJ are illegal) and Florida (Rec MJ is illegal and Med MJ is a very recent phenomenon) have already explicitly legalized all Hemp-CBD Food/Beverage/Supplement products, while a far more cannabis-progressive state like California has not

It’s certainly pretty strange to see a state like Texas beating California to the punch on anything related to cannabis...

Since Friday, I’ve noticed that AB 2028 has moved up the schedule nearly 20 spots to item 28:

https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billStatusClient.xhtml?bill_id=201920200AB2028

Then again, the CBD Legalization Bill will need to be appended to AB 2028, so the real question is not whether there will be enough time to vote on AB 2028 tomorrow, but whether CBD Legalization will be attached to it

Numerologists could have a field day with the meaning of those “28”s

Let’s see what happens tomorrow
