GILD is definitely going to be in trouble but they have made their bed and lying it. That means they do not believe leronlimab is going to get approved and they don't think once a week injections can derail their daily regimen of pills. They were clearly in talks with Cytodyn last year. There were so many overtures toward GILD that didnt result in an agreement. Instead we got a deal with Vyera and a go it alone strategy that we dont need big pharma and that we will become big pharma instead reaping most of the profits.

so to answer your question they definitely have GILD's number but doubt that contacting Fauci is going to speed up any process.
