Some good points, perhaps a later administration (probably D's), may let them go back to growing the Retained Mortgage Portfolio, as it could subsidize lower gfees, especially on low down payment, low income home purchasers.

What do you think?

And other than the added interest rate risk, what were the other main problems with letting them have a Retained Mortgage Portfolio?
