I am talking about the way the twins USE TO make real money, via the Net Interest Margin (basically the difference between mortgage yields in their portfolio minus hedging and interest rate costs), this was as I recall about 1%, right now, I think both GSES' cannot hold more than $250B in their mortgage portfolios, but was that cap from HERA or SPSA?
