I was reading this and for whatever reason sort of got hung up here, in a positive way.....have read this many times but today it rang a little different-----

Mark 7:10-13
New King James Version
For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God), then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother, making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Then I went to reading on this, footnotes, The Interpreter's Bible etc......Now I sort of thought being Politically Correct was a relative new way of defining our crazy world we live in, well, once again I was totally wrong----Jesus did not call it being PC, but if we think on it the religious leaders were being so, they twisted God's words to fit their own personal desires.-------"Note in this passage 3 things--1st that a narrow and intense devotion to religion conceived as a logical system, as a set of rules, rather than as "the life of God in the soul of man"---and a way of love, one to another.--2nd---how we can use religion to evade obligations---we say we give to the church so we need not do more where needed, 3rd--we can become more concerned with the physical building itself than with the needs of human life----we see great cathedrals, churches standing tall, looking beautiful in a neighborhood of poverty. As I read I found much more on this, a real eye opener.....the other day I made a comment about what my son taught me years ago and maybe it is a good example that fits perfectly here----Love God---Love your Family--Love your Neighbor----Yep, I did not know Political Correctness existed over 2000 years ago, but it sure did and appears that mankind has a hard time learning.----Jus say'n---God Bless
