I don't think Heathman understands how difficult and expensive it will be to create a tunnel 9 feet wide. He has no experience or qualifications to be an underground miner. He knows just enough to get himself or someone else hurt or killed. Who's the mining engineer they plan to use?

The roof support issues will be complicated, especially as close to the surface as these workings are (note the roots coming through the ceiling in a few photos).

Seriously, somebody's going to get killed if they really attempt to widen it to 9 feet.......IMO. The good thing is that I doubt they really follow through with that. He'll putter around for a month or two, move dirt from one pile to another....just enough to make a show of "mining" while the Russians start the process of dumping tens of millions of shares.
