Let's not underestimate how great this Abbott news is. The limitation of the mobile labs was sending all those samples back to a high complexity lab (very expensive and slow). These instant antigen tests mean that the Quiklabs can now test for active infection instantly, without risk of walk-ins to hospitals and/or other locations.
