The flip side is contracts (profitable) wont be executed with prices below a companies break even. No contracts, no development. Current prices do not support development so some price increase is necessary. Further, future LNG contracts will be shorter term in nature and price fluctuations will not have such a negative (or positive) effect on both the supplier and end user. Once up and running a low cost producer stands to be more profitable regardless of the rate environment.
