Just a little info I would like to pass on & none of this is me patting myself on the back, just life's lessons---I have been reading my Scriptures now for 30+ yrs., I use to get up around 3 or 4 am to be sure I got my reading in before going to work, now that I am retired I have more time to devote to Study----I started with the Scofield Study Bible, the MacArthur Study Bible, my dad before his passing gave me a complete set of Interpreter's Bibles & Interpreter's Dictionary, we have Bibles over 100 yrs old, believe it or not I use those every now & then to see what has changed in the wording, OH!! IMPORTANT POINT HERE---I still don't know much......ANYWAY this past Christmas my bride of 50+ yrs. gave me a Dr. David Jeremiah Study Bible and I have to say that I have never had Scripture explained like this Study Bible explains....things are made more clear than ever before....If any of you are thinking of purchasing a good Study Bible I would suggest you take a look-see at this one.......I still have to use all those other resources---but David Jeremiah does an excellent way of giving an understanding......NOW!!!! All that being said, I have to be honest and say or question myself---Is it this Study Bible or is the Holy Spirit starting to think just maybe Ole Dave is ready for some more knowledge----we have to be careful not to put too much praise in the hands of mankind and forget to recognize the real understanding comes from the Holy Spirit-----EZ trap to fall in.....God Bless & have a great day
