Well, I think UST and/or FHFA is arguing in their 08/17/20 written brief (it's a 149 pager and I'm still reading it!) that Plaintiffs claims are ONLY related to injuries incurred by the GSES' and NOT DIRECTLY TO THE SHAREHOLDERS!

This is WHY IT IS RELEVANT TO MENTION THAT THE SHAREHOLDERS ECONOMIC INTERESTS HAVE BEEN VAPORIZED BY THE NWS, and I got that phrase from when David Thompson uttered those very words to the 5th Circuit Enbanc Court.

During those hearings he explained in detail how da guberments abusive NWS "vaporized the shareholders economic interests". And I remember one of the Judges seemed amazed that NONE OF THE NWS PAYMENTS WENT TO REDUCE PRINCIPAL.

I am pretty sure that the oral argument is still online in the 5th Circuits archive.
