Actually now that I think about it it could be. They cut ties with Amazon around the same time JCP filed BK. Maybe they did it to stage for whatever JCP is about to become.... and this latest tie cutting makes it even more of an exclusive deal for whomever is buying JCP. Nike easily could have walked away already. There’s obviously a big synergy happening to keep them with JCP
