Lets not over complicate things than they need to be. The new owner acquired the shell most likely to resell it by making it attractive as a debt free company by declaring bankruptcy which we know already. This is what they do as a business.
There’s really no logical reason for them to alter the share structure as it will be more expense to them to do so. They are after max profit. It’s also pointless as the share structure will be changed (or may not) by the investors whom ultimately acquire it according to their needs.
Whom ever buys this company will be coming in with some significant cash and assets wanting to take their company public. So there is value here already. Getting in here at these levels is like getting in at the ground floor.
