When I look at the world, I can see climate change everywhere, I can see the overwhelming majority of scientists saying mankind is accelerating it, but a very few scientists say no. I believe that much the same is happening here, you can observe the nations who locked down and insisted on people taking protection with masks, etc, and you can look at a country like Sweden which went completely the other way. I believe the overwhelming majority of scientists will say Sweden was wrong, and most States opened to quickly because of pressure by the President, but some scientists will take the opposite view.
I have a high regard for life, but also for the economy. If we locked up much harder, like South Korea did, much of our economy could have reopened and it would have been a much more successful reopening. Use your eyes, look at the Covid-19 database that covers all countries in the world, then tell me we did it right, I don't think you can.
I suspect that if we look hard enough we can find someone who identifies himself as a scientist who'll tell you the world is flat, or that the world is only 5000 years old, I think we all need to observe what's happening and decide what we believe. If Trump wins, he's clearly saying I'm above the law. His convention is violating the Hatch act, the emoluments clause and has surrounded himself with people convicted for doing things for him, essentially the message is that laws are for losers.
