In preparing to do my morning reading I was reading the Introduction to the Gospel of Mark. When Mark wrote this Gospel it was a time when it appeared that his whole world and his church was falling apart. Without going through a history lesson, We have much going on in our world today that our world appears to us much like Mark's world a couple thousand years ago....but I had this hi-lited and it rang a bell---------

"The more confused, fragmented and chaotic our world becomes, the more the good news of Jesus Christ brings focus and clarity to our lives. Reading the Gospels---whether for the first time or the thousandth---brings light into dark circumstances and peace in the most unsettled times because they tell us about Jesus, our Light, our Peace, our Hope for troubled times."

Sort of says to me---all is well---God is in charge----God Bless
