Badog, There is a question still open for you in post 340491.

McDonald's new CEO doesn't own a single share of the company

Debunked by the Krommafier already. Investing 101. And, on a funny sidenote:

https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/mcdonalds-ceo-holds-no-shares-needs-75-million-october-2020-2019-11-1028661767#

By the way, I didn't say I think anything is going on at erhc.

Correct, it was only implied.

And that will only get worse with a private erhc.

Incorrect. Debunked already.

The fact is that neither you or any other outsider shareholders have any idea how many shares Offor owns.

You concluded yourself just a few posts back that Sir Emeka Offor and friends are actively protecting THEIR ERHC investment. They are NOT protecting a SHARED MINORITY investment via a lengthy, time consuming, expensive litigation trajectory over just ONE EEZ block!

T-H-E-Y

A-R-E

N-O-T!

To make it even clearer: I, myself, would not have spent anything on the litigation trajectory. Nada! You know why? Because I only own a few % of the company. The person(s) or entity that made the litigation trajectory possible is a MAJOR shareholder. This person or entity is also responsible for ERHC not going bankrupt. So, no matter WHO it is, the person(s) or entity that made the lengthy (and expensive) litigation possible is THE MAJOR shareholder! He wants a serious ROI, of course. Imagine for a second he would only be a minor ERHC share holder, then he/it would be doing all the work by protecting mostly other investors' percentages... ain't gonna happen.

And thanks to you we know WHO it is:

So why the fight over a block and for whom did they fight it? Simple. Offor and friends are trying to protect their investment(...)

It is also likely that there are ERHC investors that took a bet on the demise of ERHC? Well, I have no problem waiting for TOTAL. Others seem more reluctant to wait for TOTAL in EEZ block 4...
If it walks like a duck... The only other viable option is that ERHC management (or "Offor and friends") itself is trying to get the 'longs' to sell their percentage of the company.

ANY news or action from TOTAL regarding EEZ block 4 and the ERHC share price will react for sure.

AGAIN, we are full circle here.

Really FULL circle.
