I spoke with two of Tommy’s doctors today. They were both still hopeful that the experimental medicine will show to have positive effects. The last dose is running now. Tommy has had some of the side effects this drug is known to cause. I was reassured that it was expected and managed accordingly. I have full confidence at this time that Memorial Hermannand his Medical team are doing everything possible to save Tommy’s life.
I can foresee Tommy possibly needing blood soon. So I have reached out to our union, Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association, and they are working on making
this happen. I will post details if & when needed. Thank you guys for all the support!
