So this story may help with those who own or are thinking of buying RIG. I was a big holder of VAL (formerly ESV) which is in the same business as RIG.

Back in late May similar stories came out about VAL, and with the stock price in the .30's, it worried me. So I sold all, which was a lot. I also sold the shares my daughter and MIL law had. Then in early June the entire sector had a HUGE rally, and VAL went as high as $2.30! I missed out on a ton of money. VAL finally announced bankruptcy this week.

In my opinion there could be a repeat here where RIG still has a big bounce in it before they possibly declare bankruptcy. JMO.
