$1.8 billion is nowhere close to putting class 12 in the money. I think the debt they listed on the original filing is somewhere in the $4.8 billion ballpark. That has to be 'paid in full' IMO before equity sees a penny.
IF they are able to work some sort of 'ongoing' deal with the bondholders and creditors, then I believe they would have to leave existing equity intact. Sadly all bets are off unless Jones approves. Its what makes BK court a thing to avoid for shareholders of any company. Too much fraud and shady BS.
