TRD: The truth about penny stocks is that they're mostly run by the mob. In the 80's and early 90's they ran boiler rooms where they tried to sucker in people over the phone. The internet changed that, but it's still there. Most of the players you see know (Rufus, et al) are just pawns. Dig up some info on Romeo and it'll lead right back into off-shore arrangements and then over to NJ/NY guys.
