Hysr.. I have a prediction too!! Most of what Mr. Young's PRs will be borne-out by the commercial results!
This to those who such a negative view on the Hydrogen future and HYSR in particular! Do some of you think that Mr. Young has been wasting his time wracking his Brain unless a substantial amount of Hydrogen will be Commercially available in the near future?
Totally misguided if they think so IMO! The present models are small in size and cannot compare to the results that a larger, more capable device is constructed? That is where we are now, seeing (Small Bubbles,) LOL... results from a small device that is not intended to show real world results as far as capacity & practicality goes?
That new FUEL CELL Car, the HS1, or whatever it is called, can reach speeds of over 200 miles per hour, with a range of 1,000 miles per tankful of Hydrogen!!! With more research on the H-Car, better and safer results will undoubtedly occur!
With the possibility that new EV Car batteries will have to be replaced every so many months or years, and the Fire hazard remaining in place to some degree, that the Battery EVs will be forever in Vogue, especially with new batteries coming out periodically? Doesn't that mean that new technical changes will have to be made in order to instill the new batteries, whether they be one type or another! Will there ever become a standardized EV Battery that will be maybe 200X better than the types we have now, for that is what they will have to do to overcome the Hydrogen Advantage that even the first production models have in the near future!
While the Lithium Battery has had maybe 15 years to perfect what we have now, it is predictable that the Hydrogen system and Fuel Cell development will reach much higher grounds with a few more years of Innovation and development?
Yes, there will be variations, but with that new model, sports car or whatever, it shows a welcome addition to the Automobile/Vehicle industry?
Remember, a Fuel cell runs on Hydrogen yes, but is transformed internally by the fuel cell, directly to Electrons that run the Vehicle much like a battery driven Car does! Tremendously more stable, especially at highway speeds, where heat and a more expensive battery in EV Cars to handle that heat have to be installed, which will worry the general population!
Also, many Batteries have to be lined-up in conjunction with one another to obtain the power needed to function, but with the extra wiring and Battery Chassis having to be extraordinarily tough to withstand the pressures placed upon it, the Fuel Cell Car will not have that many problems, for the Fuel Cell has been around a lot longer than Battery driven cars, not counting the early battery cars that were not much better than the Batteries we now use used to produce additional power!
