What are the medical, pharmaceutical, and scientific communities doing to understand how COVID-19 operates, and to provide new treatments and vaccines that can lead us out of this pandemic?

Please join Stephen Chanock, Director of the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), who currently leads a project to learn who is more at risk for COVID-19 and what kinds of outcomes certain people are likely to incur, and Jonathan Javitt, CEO of U.S.-Israel-based NeuroRX, which just started Phase 2/3 clinical trials of RLF-100, a drug for the treatment of respiratory distress in COVID-19 patients. This session will be moderated by Yale School of Medicine communicator and former CBS News producer and reporter Rob Forman.
