Air-Q Wi-Fi Signs Wi-Fi Development Agreement for Arizona;
Development Partner to Focus First Efforts on Phoenix Market

High-Tech Writers / Business Editors BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 2003 Air-Q Wi-Fi Corporation (OTCBB:AQWF), a Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Internet access provider, announced today that it has entered into a Q-Spot(TM)-brand Wi-Fi hot spot development agreement with a private, Phoenix-based Wi-Fi company. Under the development agreement, Air-Q will purchase network-ready Wi-Fi hot spots as its development partner delivers them and immediately integrate the hot spots into its network. Each hot spot will be purchased with a combination of cash and shares of Air-Q common stock.

"Our economical cost structure is allowing us to expand our 'Q-Spot' footprint in an extremely efficient manner," said David Loflin, Air-Q's president. "Our development partner appears to be as excited as we are about our entering the dynamic Phoenix market. Our development of the Phoenix market will be focused on establishing Q-Spots not only in isolated establishments, such as restaurants, but also in hotels," added Mr. Loflin.

A Q-Spot, or hot spot, in Air-Q's Wi-Fi system is a transmission point that is connected directly to the Internet, either through a telephone line or cable television fiber, through which users' data travels.
