SoxFan... Guns are not cheap. Most gun owners/collectors are in the upper income range. Even if they are not of high income, the guns they own if maintained have lost very little in depreciation value. Either way you have just targeted a specific group of people with tangible assets for possible victimization.

So no, they are not nuts. A name and county and you can find the address with relative ease. Or easier yet FOIA already has the addresses, they simply do what the local paper did. Access it for a small charge of 25.00…

My question is why are they doing this, and who is going to put a stop to it? You can darn sure bet if a local paper did this to me I would sue the crap out of them. They may have acquired the information and disseminated it through legal means but that does not stop them from being held accountable for any and I mean any problems that may arise out of someone else’s misuse of this information. It's no different than them suing the gun manufacture every time someone misuses a gun. The news paper is misusing this information to hurt legal responsible gun owners in their leftist political agenda to disarm all Americans so they may control us without fear of reprisal....
