It appears these are conflicting arguments.

First:

Is not convincing others to enter out of fear of losing money any different or somehow better than exiting a position when you’re convinced or even certain that share price is heading south?

I'm not sure what you're referring to - 'convincing others to enter out of fear' of ANYTHING is silly imo. Why would I make an effort to convince others to enter ANY TRADE? I don't, and haven't, and that was my orig point that you appeared to take exception with.

Imo that's a BAD TRAIT - to attempt to convince others to enter a position. How does that help YOU execute YOUR trades, unless you intentionally pump & dump?

Then this:

Those shares are being passed to someone...maybe even for a large profit to you and a near term significant loss to the buyer.

If I'm convinced shares are heading south, and I'm engaged in a discussion about that stock, I post my exits. I've done that on multiple boards. Again, it appears you're suggesting either I use, or maybe should use, 'subterfuge' and misdirection.

I've possibly misunderstood your points, so please correct me.
