I recall hearing they brought him
to discuss CEO position ( probably
@ Destler's request) had a conversation, JG steps outside for a smoke, and never came back?! Can't remember where I heard the story, but it was reliable...JG got sick bout a year later, Board offered Kaplan the job...bet he regrets that move..it cost him what 10 years, and probably over a million bucks?
