Every article has been about Simon. Simon and Amazon. Simon and Belks Simon and some other clothing company. All have been with Simon as the lead. If Amazon wanted it they would not have to go through Simon. Makes 0 sense. Looks like Simon is possibly trying to scare off bidders and trying to make people believe it is going to take JCP. Maybe to help it's own stock. Maybe to try to scare others out of the bid. Either way, there has been no talks that Simon will pay shareholders.
