Our PRs are consistently crappy. Yesterday's announcement should have led with something like, "CYDY posts best clinical trial results yet in race to find Covid-19 treatment," with a sub-head stating it's tops in BOTH safety and efficacy, then distributed to all major news and stock market-based media with contact info provided for interviews. A good PR would dump words like "significant" to define results and replace it with "remarkable" or "spectacular." Then deliver this news with a spokesperson who can articulate the message better than NP can. I like the CEO and appreciate all the great things he's done, but his rambling style and accent diminish the power of the message. His public relations efforts seem to work fine in clinical settings with fellow clinicians and scientists, but it doesn't play well on video, TV or in CCs. A dynamic speaker with a powerful delivery can break down walls and thrust this treatment into the spotlight where it belongs. Throughout history this kind of promotion has brought big time success to all kinds of marginal products from Popeil's pocket fisherman to K-tel's collections of worn-out music compilations, so it shouldn't be that hard to launch a legitimate product like LL.
