If every current manufacturer of these tests dedicated their production solely to Covid-19 (at the expense of providing tests for all other indications, including malaria and HIV) there would likely still be insufficient capacity. Moreover, given the impact to society, these tests are desired to be made available at a rate that far exceeds the capabilities of the industry. The scale and pace of expansion present an unprecedented challenge to producing high quality, accurate tests.

The demand is high and will continue for some time.


ABMC is one of the few pinks where I actually "averaged up" my position.
