I live close to nyc, philly, and New Jersey (whole state is densely populated). I listed one of my rentals for next month. Someone is moving. I’ve never had such a response from these areas to move in my little area. I doubled the rent on my listing because the calls were every two mins. Calls slowed to about every 5 mins.... So than I just pulled the add. I’m still getting calls and just got one a min ago. So reminded me. Two days after I canceled the add. The panic is very real. And companies like RBII are gonna clean up!
My tenants who are moving out freaked out when I told em about the calls ( dumb move on my part) and won’t let me show it while they are still living there. They don’t want people from infected areas walking through where the still live.
I think I have it rented to a producer from San Fran. Who can’t produce movies in San Fran and she wants to come here, picked my little area. Close enough to the action but far enough to still get something done.
Cities are in big trouble. Fogging is key for the future of densely populated areas.
