IESV NEWS!!!!Intrepid Technology and Resources Receives $500,000 Plus-Up to Major Contract

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A contract awarded to Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IESV) in May of this year by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) was just increased by $500,000 to bring the total value to $950,000. This is the third time in five months that ORAU has requested additional work, and the largest vote of confidence yet. Under this contract, Intrepid is providing expertise from their specialty Virtual Science Division to assist the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) with reconstruction of radiation dosages of workers previously associated with the Department of Energy Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL). NIOSH is sponsoring a national program to establish the amount of radiation and chemical exposure that workers at government nuclear facilities may have received as a result of Cold War activities. Expectations are high that this involvement may continue for an extended period of time and could provide revenue beyond that now being estimated.

This new contract is part of escalating activities that the Company has been experiencing in the Engineering and Scientific services area over the last six months.
