Trueblue: While your munching on that crow sandwich, you may want to ponder the following;

In the Legajo Escribania 1058C in the (AGI) Archives of the Indies, Seville, Spain it says;

"The Concepcion grounded on Cape Canaveral"......

Note the word GROUNDED. That means the ship (in the hurricane) hit a reef or sand bar and came apart (which that's substantiated in the document) but when examining charts of the SFRX area they're working in, there is no outlying reef or sand bar so it really doesn't fit the statement (testimony) does it. Oh, but I'm sure you'll come up with an explanation (excuse) of some sort.
