United Specialties Launches National Advertising and Marketing Campaign

Company Targets Magazines, Internet Banner Ads, Infomercials and
Op-in E-Mails to Increase Product Awareness and
Further Solidify Corporate Branding
United Specialties, Inc. (OTC BB:UNSP), the leading importer, packer, and distributor of specialty and gourmet foods and the first importer of fresh truffles into the U.S., today announced that the Company is launching a national advertising and marketing campaign to increase consumer awareness of its broad range of specialty products.

The campaign includes radio ads reaching over 1 million households, over 700 magazine placements, in excess of 1 million op-in e-mails, 800 banner ads utilizing the Internet and televised infomercials.

The "Da Rosario" brand has been consistently featured in peer group magazines, and, in October 2003 received favorable mention in Gourmet, www.gourmet.com and Bon Appetit, www.bonappetit.com.

"As we continue to gain a foothold in major U.S. restaurant and retail chains, it is our contention that this advertising and marketing effort will spearhead anticipated growth and garner greater market share. It is the Company's goal to increase our bottom line thus adding shareholder value through marketing strategies of this nature," stated Rosario Safina, President.
