Let me answer your question with a question...and give me a little rope here...

If a corporation files for chpt 11 bankruptcy, they dont have the funds or resources to pay their creditors in full, so they file for legal protection to keep a viable business running while figuring out a plan for how to repay said creditors.
Now, if they cant pay their creditors in full, and in a chapter 11 bk, the creditors and bond holders will get paid in full 100% before shareholders will see a penny...

...Is it a fair assumption that if the creditors and bondholders of Approach Resources debt will not get paid in full, that shareholders will get nothing??? In turn, wiping them out???
